Very Poor Error Handling

- Losing network connectivity causes the SSH terminal to lock completely with no open to reconnect besides restarting the application.

- Currently the text editor has a copy of my source file that never successfully saved. Attempting to save again, even with modifications, claims to succeed but a cat on the remote computer shows the original version. This persists across restarts

- Entering command mode in Vim causes the application to hang then crash 100% of the time

The remote system is a vanilla Lion machine using password authentication - nothing exotic

The above issues make it unusable for my intended purpose of using it on public transit in Vancouver. The LTE network has good enough bandwidth and latency but Diet Codas poor error handling means I spent the majority of my time restarting the application after traveling through a dead spot or suspending the iPad for a transfer
