Fills the void!

Guys, thank you for making a sorely needed product. Whoever it was at Panic that took the initiative to push this through deserves an e-handshake. Couple this with the Prompt 2 app, and foldable Bluetooth keyboard and youre an ultra mobile development powerhouse.

Good but not bug free

During my limited use it crashed three times. Which is too much for my liking. Also the html preview tool doesnt fetch external CSS :/. However, it got decent features and it seems to be the best code editor on iOS

It looks good

It might be a wonderful program, but Im not able to get it to connect! I went to Panics main website and found the desktop version is $99.00 available from them. It says it can connect using Ftp but I can only find SSH connection and not clear on how to enter the key or connect to my site on Godaddy. They have upgraded to version 2.5 not sure what version I downloaded.

This app is off the hook

If you are a web developer wondering if you can do your job on the iPad while on the road, the answer yes and Coda is the way. This is an amazing app and nearly as good as its Mac counterpart. Buying Prompt and anything else by these guys to help support the great work they are doing on the iPad. Update: Still astounded, but there are a few glitches Id love to see fixed. Syntax Highlighting gets goofy after a while and I have to reset it. Still 5 stars because... Theres nothing out there that even comes close to how great this is.

Crashes often, no PHP preview

This would be perfect if it didnt crash so much (iPad Pro, iOS 9.3) and if PHP was supported in preview mode.

Freezes on n

Fantastic app, however, I cant rate well when it freezes on 50% of the new lines that I create (return button). Itll just freeze and become unresponsive, leaving me to force quit the app (losing progress) and trying again.

Too buggy

Ive been a user of textastic and it didnt have split screen support for ipad pro. Decided to go with coda and check it out. Initally everything was fine, but now the app doesnt connect to any of my sites. Was very excited at first but have gone back to textastic now that they have added the split screen feature.

Perfection

As a first time Coda user, I found the learning curve to be a little steep. But after a couple hours of messing with it to figure everything out, Im absolutely in love. Coda accomplishes everything I ask of it and more. Worth way, way beyond the $9.99 that theyre asking for. Thank you, Panic!
